The Glory Years was considered
Nine Music’s (then Nine Foundation) golden
age between the years 1996 to 1998. It was the first 2 years of the first
generation (first generation was from
1996 to 1999). There was 20 music releases in these 2 years which also boasted

of the music released then was low, many believe that there has never been
an era as fresh, unique as the Glory Years. The era was characterized by many
street cyphers, talent shows and house
parties. The leading artists of the era were glamorized and prolifically spoken
about. Their actions were concidered legendary with the music releases providing
