Jack was born in Glasgow, Scotland to a poor family. He was bullied in school until he was beaten up badly in an by a gang of bullies. After that incident he became violent and went around challenging people to fights.

Jack was known for doing revolting things in street fights like spitting and defecating on his opponents. He built a reputation for being prepare to do anything to win a fight.

He became a professional wrestler for a greater challenge.
