NMO stands for NO Major Outlet. It is a term that was created after the success of the Nine Anthems Tour to describe a music projects performance that never had radio play, magazine promotion, major retail, TV promotion and major venue gigs.

It is estimated that an NMO music project is at 200 times a disadvantage than projects with major outlets.
