The Hermit is Nine Pictures most successful movie. It stars Jamel Jones\Thomas, and Kay Lewis. It is about a boy who was bullied as a kid, now he is older he wants to take revenge on those who picked on him.

The Screening

The Hermit screened on at Stratford Circus. This was Nine Pictures biggest screening for a movie and it’s most glamorous night. This was also the first time a Nine Pictures film had been projected on a 10 feet screen.

This movie received heavy rotation on satellite channel ACTV and it also played twice on BEN. The Hermit played so much on ACTV that actor Kay Lewis “said that must be the only film they have”.

Reception

The movie was released to critical acclaim. Many comment on the remarkable polish for a no budget movie. The theme tune was credited for being an effective haunting theme.
The Hermit Screening ended in a roaring round of applause.
