The Cuthbert 80 Biography Cuthbert 80 was born 1980 as a 'Human' in London. He enjoyed a decent upbringing, raised by his wonderful mother and lived in many parts of the United Kingdom including Bristol and even Wales. He spent most of his time living in different parts of London including Penge, Battersea, Leytonstone and the longest duration of his life, Forest Gate. Yes…Forest Gate. It was Forest Gate where the most notable turn in events occurred, namely his hobbies and interests. He always had a passion for 80's music, be it pop, rock or soul, but he also enjoyed drawing, rapping, satellite dishes, making satellite dishes(out of paper plates and Mcdonalds straws) and electricity pylon's. It was, however, his growing interest in trains that started to 'blossom'. Cuthbert 80 loved his mother dearly, but it was partly her to blame for these 'unfortunate' events. To meet friends and relatives, she took Cuthbert 80 on the London Underground mostly, but also a lot on British Rail suburban trains. Cuthert 80 suddenly became fascinated with these machines, the looks, sounds, smells and the way they worked. His interest escalated into buying train sets, magazines and books until one day he boarded his first high speed train: the Intercity 125. From this day onwards he only had an interest in high speed trains(HST's). He appreciated diesel, steam and electric suburban trains, but it was the HST that captured him. Never did he experience such an exhilarating experience, despite visiting many theme parks. How on earth did such a good looking machine travel so fast and so smoothly?. This was a life changing experience for Cuthert 80 and so he grew more and more fond of these high speed 'beauties'. His interest in HST's increased tenfold when he moved to 'the next level': Eurostar. Again, this was a remarkable, life changing experience. All the same questions and emotions arose again, but ten times. How on God's Earth could a 400 ton train comprising of 18 coaches and 2 power cars travel at 300kph???. Cuthert 80 life went even further 'downhill' with his interests when he touched down in Japan, the home of the 'Bullet Train'. Fortunate enough to go to tokyo, he was privileged to experience the phenomenon that is the Shinkansen 'Bullet Train', a symbol Japan. Apart from the obvious questions and emotions that Cuthert 80 was familiar with, it was the striking looks and design of these machines that once again, astounded Cuthert 80. He thought The 700 Series was beautiful by any means, but the 500 Series was completely out of this world.
As mentioned earlier, Cuthert 80 always had a strong passion for 80's music and truly believed he was privileged to be given life on 'Earth' in this era. During the mid/late 80's he wasn't quite aware of how great this time zone was until later on… Cuthert 80 always loved rap/hip hop and in the early/mid 90's, he enjoyed it so much that he thought he would have a 'crack at it'. His lyrical content included girl's and video games and quickly developed his skills into something 'praiseworthy'. In 1999, Cuthert 80 was lucky enough to get signed to Nine Music. He featured on projects from Nine Taurus, Symbolic, the Titans and many more. The following year, Cuthert 80 realized he could sing, though he was truly dreadful. Nevertheless, he and his cousins decided to form a vocal group, aiming to be one of the best vocalist's 'Earth' has ever seen. Cuthert 80 cousins: Alfredo, Jace and Dieu, sung very well, on the other hand. They regularly teased Cuthert 80 for being 'inferior' and a being a 'boring singer' so he finally had enough and 'changed the record'. From then onwards to the present day, he became one of the 'lead singers' in the group. Cuthert 80 gained even more popularity by his newfound singing, and more established rapping 'talents'. His musical influences include: Cocco, Tina Turner, Eva Cassidy, Stevie Wonder, Temptations and Madonna(in the 80's). He is also inspired by certain members of the Wu Tang Clan, The Nine Corporation and Sin Movement as well as Shinkansen and Eurostar. |
